Hymns On the Hooch

“For the Beauty of the Earth”

1 For the beauty of the earth,

for the glory of the skies,

for the love which from our birth

over and around us lies.

Refrain:

Christ, our Lord, to you we raise

this, our hymn of grateful praise.

2 For the wonder of each hour

of the day and of the night,

hill and vale and tree and flower,

sun and moon and stars of light, [Refrain ]

3 For the joy of human love,

brother, sister, parent, child,

friends on earth, and friends above,

for all gentle thoughts and mild, [Refrain]

“Your Great Name”

Lost are saved, find their way, at the sound of Your great name

All condemned, feel no shame, at the sound of Your great name

Every fear, has no place, at the sound of Your great name

The enemy, he has to leave, at the sound of Your great name

Jesus, worthy is the lamb that was slain for us, son of God and man

You are high and lifted up, that all the world will praise Your great name

All the weak, find their strength, at the sound of Your great name

Hungry souls, receive grace, at the sound of Your great name

The fatherless, they find their rest, at the sound of Your great name

Sick are healed, and the dead are raised, at the sound of Your great name

Jesus, worthy is the lamb that was slain for us, son of god and man

You are high and lifted up, that all the world will praise Your great name

Oh, Your great name

Redeemer, my healer, almighty

My savior, defender, You are my king

Redeemer, my healer, almighty

My savior, defender, You are my king

Jesus, worthy is the lamb that was slain for us, son of god and man

You are high and lifted up, that all the world will praise Your great name

Oh, Your great name

“Amazing Grace”

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I’m found;
Was blind, but now I see.

T’was grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fear relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come.
T’was grace that brought us safe thus far,
And grace will lead us home.

When we’ve been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun.
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we’ve first begun.
