Minister of Music
Dr. Richard Prior is our Minister of Music. Richard was our interim Minister of Traditional Music for a few months before officially accepting the full-time position in February 2022.
With a career history embracing leadership in choral and orchestral music, academia, and business, Dr. Prior is uniquely qualified to lead our traditional worship ministry while creating new opportunities for growth and collaboration within the arts community of LaGrange and West Georgia.
“The power of the synergy between text and music, and music’s often-transformative role as a fundamental part of the worship experience, can touch the single heart or congregation of thousands,” stated Dr. Prior. “To serve as part of that ministry once again, and in essence return to where the journey began, will be a profound privilege.”
